Lazydays RV recently celebrated the grand opening of the new Airstream Store at its Tucson, Ariz. location. According to a press release, nearly 200 people gathered to celebrate the 2,000-square-foot store, which opened earlier this month.
Tim Sheehan, CEO of Lazydays and CFO Randall Lay were present at the ribbon-cutting alongside Chris Trapeni, general manager of Lazydays in Tucson. Airstream Vice President of Sales Justin Humphreys was also in attendance and spoke to the crowd about the collaboration between two industry leaders providing “an immersive shopping experience that represents the adventurous spirit of the Airstream brand.”
In addition, Airstream enthusiasts from across the county were in attendance for the Alumafiesta rally taking place at the Tucson Lazydays on-site KOA campground.
“This was truly a special day for us here at Lazydays Tucson,” said Trapeni. “To see nearly 200 loyal Airstreamers come out to celebrate with us and check out the new store was incredible. I hope Airstreamers will consider Lazydays a place to call home for many years to come.”
“We were blown away by the turnout today,” said Humphreys. “I always enjoy getting to meet our loyal Airstream customers and hear their stories. We were thrilled to be able to celebrate this new store at Lazydays alongside so many of them.”
The Airstream Store at Lazydays carries the full product line of Airstream models including touring coaches and travel trailers as well as accessories, souvenirs and branded apparel.
