Lazydays RV is teaming up once again with SUN ’N FUN for the organization’s 44th Annual International Fly-In and Expo. Hosted on the SUN ’N FUN campus in Lakeland, Fla., the six-day event will take place April 10-15 with an estimated 200,000 participants — including pilots, aviation enthusiasts, exhibitors and RVers— expected to attend.
According to a press release, this year’s Fly-In and Expo is headlined by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flight demonstration team, along with the U.S. Navy’s F-18 Super Hornet TAC Demo. In addition, a collection of historic military aircraft will be on hand, including a host of World War II fighters, bombers and two of the space program’s first astronaut training planes. The event will benefit the Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE). Proceeds will support ACE’s aviation-related science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education and related community activities.
As the event’s exclusive RV sponsor, Lazydays will display a selection of RVs, accessories, and RV rentals. Lazydays RV experts will be on hand at the display throughout the event week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to discuss RV models, services, accessories, rentals, and the Lazydays RV Resort, located an easy half-hour’s drive from the Fly-In.
“We are thrilled to have Lazydays returning to join us at SUN ’N FUN for the South’s largest aviation expo,” said Greg Gibson, director of operations for SUN ’N FUN. “Our event is rare for the aviation community in that we offer onsite camping for our guests. Lazydays is well known for its RV offering and outstanding customer service, and our guests always benefit greatly from having their team here with us. Their support for our STEM education programs and pilot scholarships is a testament to their community commitment.”
“We are proud to sponsor the SUN ’N FUN International Fly-In and Expo for the fourth consecutive year,” said John Lebbad, chief marketing officer for Lazydays. “We look forward to enhancing all of the attendees’ event experience, including the more than 1,500 RVers and campers, with fun RV displays and activities again this year. “
