The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today they have signed a multiyear sponsorship with Lazydays RV. Both Lazydays and the Buccaneers will benefit from joint promotional commitments and game-day presence.
“The Buccaneers are excited to enter into a partnership with Lazydays, the industry leader in the field of recreational vehicles and a company with Bay area roots,” said Buccaneers Co-Chairman Bryan Glazer in a press release. “We look forward to finding innovative ways to integrate Lazydays into the Buccaneer fan experience.”
Founded in Tampa in 1976 – the same year that the Buccaneers franchise was awarded to the region – Lazydays has grown to offer customers a broad range of new and pre-owned RV brands in the nation. As part of the sponsorship, Lazydays will showcase its RVs on gamedays. The new Lazydays RV Tailgating Lot is the first dedicated on-site parking location specifically designed for Buccaneers gameday RVers. There, fans will enjoy a fun and exciting tailgating experience that includes interactive activities and contests.
“Lazydays is thrilled to enter into a sponsorship with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,” said Lazydays CEO Tim Sheehan. ”We’re a great fit because we both enjoy customers who celebrate outdoor activities, good times, and gathering with friends and family – it will be great fun to share the RV lifestyle with fans at every game as we showcase some of our popular product lines that are perfect for tailgating.”
Lazydays Chief Marketing Officer John Lebbad said, “Lazydays is proud to be sponsoring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and providing the team and Bucs fans with exciting RV experiences all year long. In addition to a gameday presence, our sponsorship includes brand signage, event activation, customer hospitality opportunities, and exclusive tie-ins with Buccaneers community relations programs that will be announced soon.”
