Kenneth M. Scolaro, 44, Valrico, Fla., an employee since 1978 at Lazydays RV SuperCenter, Seffner, Fla., and president and general manager of the dealership’s high-end Crown Club, died Friday (Jan. 13).
Scolaro’s career at Lazydays began as a lot porter and he held many positions over the years, including general sales manager of the largest sales force in the RV industry.
Lazydays founder and Chairman Don Wallace noted that Scolaro “devoted his entire working life to making Lazydays and the RV industry better.”
According to Lazydays CEO John Horton: “Ken Scolaro’s commitment to Lazydays, his fellow employees and the industry was remarkable.”
Scolaro is survived by his wife, Arlene; children Dalton and Brittany; his parents, two brothers and a sister.
Services will be tonight (Jan. 17) at 7 p.m. at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, Brandon, Fla.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made at the dealership to Lazydays Partners Foundation for At-Risk Children.
Also, Lazydays has established a fund for the Scolaro children. Contributions may be made through the dealership.
