Lazydays RV is once again the presenting sponsor of the Florida State Fair Heroes Day, which honors military, first responders, law enforcement and firefighters with free admission to the fairgrounds.
According to a press release, Lazydays will also honor a “lucky hero” selected through random drawing with a one-week stay at the Lazydays RV Resort, complete with RV, during a giveaway at the Heroes Day celebration on Feb. 5.
“Lazydays is proud to pay tribute to the heroes in our community,” said Lazydays CEO Tim Sheehan. “Heroes Day is a wonderful opportunity for all of us at Lazydays to reflect on the service and sacrifice of these great men and women and to show our extreme gratitude for all that they do to help keep us and our families safe.”
“Partnering with Lazydays to salute our heroes has taken this event to a whole new level,” said FSFA Executive Director Charles “Chuck” Pesano. “We are always honored to work with them due to their long standing commitment to the community and to customers.”
Heroes Day kicks off the Florida State Fair, which runs Feb. 5–16. As part of a major multiyear partnership agreement with the Florida State Fair Authority, Lazydays will have several motorhomes on display throughout the fairgrounds, and will welcome attendees with a booth in front of the Expo Hall at Gate 1.
“The Florida State Fair Authority has been a tremendous partner,” said Lazydays Chief Marketing Officer John Lebbad. “We have like business goals and both enjoy customers who celebrate family, travel and new experiences. But perhaps more important, we share similar values and a demonstrated commitment to honoring our community’s heroes.”
