Lazydays RV SuperCenter, generally believed to be the world’s largest RV dealership, reports its January SuperSale generated more than $80 million in sales revenue, an all-time record month for the 25-year-old dealership.
The Tampa area company sold 840 units during its SuperSale, which lasted basically the entire month of January.
The $80 million in sales revenue is equivalent to a 23% increase over the 2001 SuperSale, according to the dealership.
“These trends also keep us on track to reach our goal of achieving $1 billion in sales annually,” said Don Wallace, founder and CEO.
Additionally, Lazydays, located in Seffner, Fla., had a strong fourth quarter of 2001. It sold 1,400 units, representing a 16% increase over the fourth quarter of 2000, Wallace said.
“We expect our positive trend in sales and market share in 2001 to continue in 2002,” he said. “We are projecting an increase in unit sales of almost 9% this year.”
