The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce has presented Don Wallace, chairman of Seffner, Fla.-based Lazydays RV Center Inc., with the annual H.L. Culbreath Profile in Leadership Award for his philanthropic efforts in the Tampa Bay community.
According to a press release, the chamber selected Wallace based on his and his family foundation’s support of at-risk children and at-risk families as well as cultural arts, public health, medical research, community development and education organizations.
“We are so very honored that the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce has chosen to recognize Don Wallace with the H.L Culbreath Award,” said Lazydays CEO John Horton. “His sense of charity and kindness set a wonderful example for all of us at Lazydays and in the entire community.”
The release stated that Wallace and his wife, Erika, established the Don and Erika Wallace Family Foundation in order to “enrich and sustain the quality of life in Tampa Bay by investing in programs and initiatives that can measurably change the lives of people.”
The dealership’s employees also share that mission through the Lazydays Partners Foundation.
