KPA, in conjunction with the RV Learning Center, will present two webinars next week, according to a press release.

A session scheduled for April 26 from 2-3 pm (EDT) will cover the 29 CFR 1910 OSHA general industry training requirements as well as a portion of DOT and EPA requirements. Participants will learn why training is necessary, what training should be covered, who requires it, and how to deliver effective training. Other topics will include KPA’s Risk Management Center, compliance with training requirements, and training automation. Register online.

On April 27 from noon to 1 p.m. (EDT) KPA Vice President of Human Resources Kathryn Carlson will analyze paid time off (PTO) for employees. Register online

Participants will learn about:

  • Rules related to PTO including how to offer PTO in states where sick leave is mandatory.
  • Wage and hours issues.
  • Managing leave interactions including FMLA and workers compensation.
  • Best practices when moving from vacation and sick leave to PTO.
