Dreams came true Friday (July 31) at Camping World of Richmond, Ind.
The Palladium-Item reported that Marcus Lemonis, CEO and chairman of Camping World and host of CNBC’s TV show “The Profit,” spent nearly two hours with an audience of about 250 people during the grand opening celebration at Camping World.
He arrived about an hour later than his scheduled 2:30 p.m. time, but audience members quickly forgave him as soon as he started to give away prizes and share his good humor.
After Lemonis began drawing names from a green bucket of entry forms, he didn’t pick a prize from the pre-selected assortment set up at the front of the seating area. Instead, he asked, “What would you like to have for your RV?”
The answers included new tires, a back-up camera, a grill, an ice-maker, a refrigerator, a new bed, a new mattress and a new windshield to replace one damaged in an accident that wasn’t covered by an insurance deductible. Some who couldn’t make up their minds received gift cards.
