Liberty Coach Inc., North Chicago, Ill., had a grand opening celebration earlier this month at its new sales and service facility in Stuart, Fla.
Liberty, which sells its custom-built units directly to retail buyers, converts about 36 Prevost XL-II and H3-45 bus shells into luxury motorhomes each year. It will continue manufacturing all of its units north of Chicago but the Konigseder family-owned firm decided to open a sales and service facility in Florida to better serve its customers.
The facility in Florida is about a 45-minute drive north from Palm Beach. It opened last Oct. 15 and includes a six-bay Prevost Factory Authorized Service Center plus a 16,000-square foot showroom that can hold 11 units. Both new and used Liberty Coach Prevosts are in stock at the facility in Stuart.
Dave Wall is the sales manager in Stuart and the sales specialists are Gay Patterson and Dave Wishnoff. Troy Moody is the service manager and the service technicians are Jeff Rowe, Tom Heal and Paul Coen.
All Prevost coaches and most Class A motorhomes can be serviced at the Liberty facility in Stuart.
