Life on Wheels, an RV consumer education program, has added Pima Community College, Tucson, Ariz., to its 2006 schedule.
The Life on Wheels program, which will enter its 12th year in 2006, was founded and is directed by Gaylord Maxwell, a veteran RVer, author, columnist for MotorHome and RV Business magazines and lecturer. The Pima Community courses will be offered on unspecified dates in March 2006 during the college’s spring break.
“Pima College is a perfect facility for our purposes, with parking for RVs just a few steps from the classrooms,” said Maxwell, whose program is partly supported by a lengthy list of RV industry sponsors. Seventy-plus seminars will be offered during the Tucson conference, including a special section for “newbies” that has been added to the curriculum for 2005. Life On Wheels schedule for 2005 includes:
• Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, May 13-16
• University of Idaho, Moscow, June 26-July 1
• Northampton Community College, Bethlehem, Pa., August 5-8
• Des Moines Area Community College, Ankeny, Iowa, Aug. 26-29.
