Limited seating is still available for the RV Women’s Alliance breakfast and networking event taking place during next week’s Elkhart RV Open House on Monday (Sept. 23) from 8-10 a.m., hosted by Furrion. According to a press release, more than 100 women and men from across the RV industry will gather to hear from Ind. Rep. Jackie Walorski on the importance of lifting up women in organizations as well as how women can get involved and make a difference in the political process.
“I’m thrilled to attend the RV Women’s Alliance Breakfast in the ‘RV Capital of the World’ and meet the many passionate women who are moving mountains and growing our economy,” Congresswoman Walorski said. “The RV Women’s Alliance will foster engagement, support, and opportunities to help women advance their careers and bring the RV industry to the next level. Great organizations like this make our communities stronger, and I look forward to working together to empower women and families to achieve the American Dream.”
Attendees will also participate in small group discussions to share best practices and learn from others with the same interests. Topics range from how the RV industry can elevate the role of women to how you can establish and promote your personal brand.
“We are very excited for the event next week and honored to have Congresswoman Walorski speaking,” said RVWA President Susan Carpenter. “There has already been tremendous response for the event, but we have even more space for those who want to find out more about our organization and hear from our members who are doing amazing things in the industry.”
