LinkSpot Networks, Inc., a wireless Internet provider to campgrounds and RV parks, has partnered with Friend Communications, Inc. to offer clients real-time, online reservation capabilities.
“This partnership is a natural fit,” LinkSpot President and CEO Alan Kobran said.  “All of our customers are computer savvy and appreciate Internet capabilities, so adding the Friend reservation system seemed logical.”
LinkSpot provides campgrounds with wireless Internet access and assists guests in locating parks with those capabilities through its website, thisrvpark.com portal, and toll-free ParkFinder service. “This alliance is another way that LinkSpot and Friend are helping to market their joint customers’ locations, by making it easy for consumers to find parks with wireless Internet access and take advantage of online reservations all at the same time,” Kobran explained.
Consumers can be connected while at home making reservations and while relaxing at the campground. “LinkSpot and Friend offer campgrounds and parks cutting-edge technology that consumers demand,” said Gary Pace, president of Friend Communications. “This partnership will help make parks more appealing to the rapidly growing number of computer-proficient guests and it will help increase revenues for park owners.”
Joint clients of the two companies receive the benefits of both systems.
Mike Gurevich, owner of Cherry Hill Park, College Park, Md., is one of those clients. “Park owners and consumers want online technology that is convenient and easy.  Friend and LinkSpot provide just that,” Gurevich said.
