Jason Lippert, president and CEO of Goshen, Ind.-based Lippert Components Inc., a subsidiary of Drew Industries Inc., was elected on Friday (Sept. 15) to the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) board of directors.
Lippert received the final board seat in a run-off election against Dan Eckenroad of PowerGear/Kwikee.
Lippert, 34, will serve a two-year term on the board, representing suppliers to the RV industry. He has served as president and CEO of Lippert Components since 2003. Prior to this position, Lippert served as executive vice president and COO of Lippert from 2000-2003 and as regional director of operations from 1998-2000.
In prior election results, Jeffrey Miller, president and CEO of Carriage Inc., and Bob Tiffin, president and CEO of Tiffin Motor Homes Inc., were newly elected to the board as manufacturer representatives.
Incumbents re-elected were Mike Harris, president and CEO of Thetford Corp./Norcold Inc., as an at-large representative and Dick Parks, CEO and chairman of Newmar Corp., as a manufacturer representative.
