In an effort to monitor dealer sentiment on an array of topics, RVBusiness in conjunction with Wells-Fargo CDF is preparing later today (Feb. 13) to e-mail a fast-paced, 20-question dealer survey to hundreds of North American RV retailers. The non-intrusive, non-scientific “2017 RVB/Wells Fargo Dealer Survey” is designed to generate a summary look back at 2016 and a speculative glance forward into retailers’ outlooks for 2017.
Completed surveys, due back to RVB by the end of business on Feb. 27, are to appear on RVBUSINESS.com and in the March/April issue of RVBusiness magazine.
“Everyone’s well aware of the fact that the RV market’s been exceptionally strong, coming off a year in which wholesale shipments as reported by the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) were at 40-year highs,” said Sherman Goldenberg, publisher of Elkhart, Ind.-based RVBusiness. “But this survey gets us beyond those upbeat headlines to a more cerebral level where we take a closer look at some of the prospects and challenges dealers foresee on the front lines of towable and motorized RV sales throughout North America. So, please stand by for the survey blast.”
Any dealer not receiving the e-mailed survey who may wish to participate can access it by clicking on the survey logo on RVBUSINESS.com’s home page.
