Tiffin Zephyr RVs, Heartland Prowler RVs, bay boats and pontoon boats are just some of the items for sale at the Southern Louisiana Boat, Sport and RV Show this weekend.

For 19 years, the event has taken place inside the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center. The Daily Comet reported that the three-day event typically sees around 5,000 people every year looking to buy an RV, boat, ATV, fishing tackle and a variety of other items related to the great outdoors.

Among the show’s many offerings, RVs and boats take up majority of the Civic Center space. This year alone, there are 40 boat brands and over 100 RV brands.

One of the biggest dealers at the show and in the state is Dixie RV Superstores, with locations in Louisiana and Florida.

Jeremy Bradley, who’s been with the company since 2004, said a lot of customers are drawn to Dixie because of its destination-type showroom.

“We have 67 acres where you can see any kind of RV. We also invite customers, once they purchase an RV, to come and have an overnight stay with us to get better acclimated,” Bradley said.
