Attendance at this week’s Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky., reached 7,414, representing a 3% decrease compared to the previous year.
RVIA reported that dealer attendance was also down 3% at 2,415.
In another key segment, attendance for buying categories comprised of dealers, accessory store owners, campground owners and warehouse distributors was flat on a year-to-year basis at 2,762.
The Louisville Show, encompassing more than 755,500 square feet at the Kentucky Exposition Center, concludes today (Dec. 4). This year’s edition featured 57 manufacturers and 227 supplier exhibitors showcasing the latest RV models, innovative new products, and RV-related services.
The event kicked off Tuesday with “Outlook 2015: Good Things Ahead,” hosted by newly installed RVIA Chairman Derald Bontrager and featuring reports from RVIA President Richard Coon, updates on RVIA PR and Go RVing efforts, and guest speaker James Lloyd.
