The number of dealership personnel attending last month’s National RV Trade Show in Louisville was up by 9% over the 2002 show, according to the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), sponsor of the annual event.
Dealership attendance amounted to 5,358 people representing 2,507 RV retailers, according to the RVIA.
Total attendance for the 2003 Louisville show was a record 13,371, a 7% increase over 2002.
The Outlook 2004 breakfast at the beginning of the show on Dec. 2 drew nearly 1,000 people, the RVIA reports.
Exhibit space usage, 765,000 square feet, also was at an all-time high. The Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center (KFEC) was filled.
The number of accessories store representatives attending the show increased to 383 people, up from 355 in 2002, and warehouse distributor representatives increased to 135 people, compared with 124 a year earlier, the RVIA reported.
