Mandalay Luxury Division, Elkhart, Ind., recently debuted the new 2007 40-foot 39E Presidio diesel pusher floorplan featuring a combination corner entertainment center and fireplace in a 30-inch deep living room slideout.
“It’s more thought out from the standpoint of overall usability of the coach,” said John Krider, Mandalay’s product development manager.
This new floorplan, which makes the 32-inch LCD TV viewable from standard swivel cockpit chairs, was among those shown June 19-24 during the Thor Industries Inc. subsidiary’s dealer open house.
The Presidio 39E, with a base MSRP of $189,830, also features three floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room slideout. Presidio is built standard on either a 32,000-pound GVWR Freightliner XC chassis powered by a 330-hp Mercedes MBE 926 diesel engine or a 32,000-pound GVWR Workhorse R Series chassis with a 330-hp Cummins ISC diesel engine.
The autonomous new Thor division’s Mandalay Presidio is available in four 40-foot quad-slideout floorplans with standard features that include front and rear molded fiberglass caps, one-piece windshields, side-hinged baggage doors, 84-inch ceilings, porcelain tile floors, fluted glass kitchen cabinet doors, brushed nickel faucets and new full-body paint packages.
