A free luncheon program about best practices for sales and marketing will be the focus for the Aug. 22 gathering of regional sales and marketing executives, presented by Spearhead Sales & Marketing.

According to a press release, the program will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Spearhead offices in downtown Elkhart. The discussion will include looking at four resources helpful for growth-enhancing sales and marketing:

• How to Design for Growth, based on concepts from the book, “The Design of Business,” by Roger Martin.

• Spearhead’s “Four Keys to a Marketing Budget.”

• Impact Needs Assessment.

• ROI calculator.

“There are so many things you could do in sales and marketing to move the needle, “ said Chad Root, president of Spearhead. “But how do you decide what to do? We’ll use some Spearhead resources to generate what I expect to be a lively discussion about best practices.”
