Matt Havens, who speaks about generational issues and leadership, will deliver the keynote address in November at the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) in Knoxville, Tenn.

According to press release, association member surveys showed that one of the most pressing issues in the outdoor hospitality industry is the generational divide between employees.

“We are listening to our members’ needs and pain points and building education at OHCE to help find the solutions,” says Paula Horwitz, the association’s executive director of education and events. “We selected Matt because his expertise in this area will help… attendees navigate this very timely issue and his ability to captivate an audience will certainly make for a memorable keynote.”

During his keynote, attendees will learn how to understand, recognize and resolve every generational issue facing today’s workforce. Attendees will walk away with several immediately applicable strategies to solve problems, Horwitz says, caused by the disconnect between different generations, helping to inspire a healthier and more robust work ethic and attitude in employees of all ages.

The conference is a four-day event from Nov. 4-7 in Knoxville, Tenn. It will include more than 40 educational seminars, a trade show with more than 120 vendors, tours of local campgrounds, a CPR/disaster preparedness class and the association’s Awards of Excellent program.
