Officials at Meyer Distributing, a family-owned business operating since 1937 and headquartered in Jasper, Ind., are excited to announce the company has strengthened its position in the 12-volt automotive, marine and powersports markets with the acquisition of P&E Distributors.

P&E Distributors – Performance & Electronics Distributors Inc. – is headquartered in Goodlettsville, Tenn., with locations in Chattanooga, Tenn., and Marietta, Ga. According to the company’s website, P&E is the largest distributor of wholesale automotive aftermarket accessories in the Southeastern U.S., and P&E Distributors has been family owned and operated for more than 55 years. From its three warehouse locations and more than 140,000 square feet of stock space, P&E services all 50 states, with next-day delivery to 12 states and two-day delivery to 14 more.

Meyer has best-in-class technology and is adept at managing territorial and/or nationwide vendor and customer relationships, according to the company announcement. Together, the P&E and Meyer expert sales teams provide customers hundreds of combined years of experience in the industry. This knowledge, coupled with Meyer’s expertise in logistics and warehousing in both regional and national markets, will deliver a very competitive platform for vendors and customers alike to grow their businesses.

“With the onboarding of P&E, we’re really excited for the next chapter for the sales team,” states Jeff Braun, CEO of Meyer.  “There is so much combined industry knowledge to lean on with this group, and we look forward to growing the business and helping the industry evolve into a model that promotes competition and providing the absolute best overall products and services to the customers and end users.”
