Western New York dealership Meyer’s RV Superstores is working on adding a fifth location, according to the Rochester (N.Y.) Democrat and Chronicle.
Meyer’s is close to closing a deal to acquire the site of a former auto dealership in Churchville, N.Y., and it has already bought the land around the former car dealership site, the newspaper reported.
Eventually, Meyer’s will build a 15,000-square-foot showroom, a 22,000-square-foot parts and accessories store and a 24-bay service center. The dealership is “working to lease space” to Camping World, the national RV accessories retailer, the Democrat and Chronicle reported.
Camping World is a unit of Affinity Group Inc., as is TL Enterprises Inc., publisher of RV Business and RVBUSINESS.COM.
Meyer’s currently renovating a building in Churchville and the dealership plans a grand opening for November at that, smaller, location. Then, Meyer’s will begin work on the superstore project, the newspaper reported.
Meyer’s other locations are in Caledonia, Bath, Hamburg and Syracuse, N.Y.
