MHC Group is continuing to build Class A motorhomes and fifth-wheels despite the fact MountainHigh Coachworks Inc. is in bankruptcy liquidation.
MHC, based in Ontario, Calif., bought the assets of MountainHigh in April. MHC bought MountainHigh’s assets after MountainHigh was foreclosed by its lender, Deutsche Financial Services.
MHC officials were not immediately available for comment, but MHC is building units at a factory in Upland, Calif., according to a spokesman for Jackson RV Transporters Inc., the company that ships MHC units from the factory to dealerships.
Included among the assets MHC bought from MountainHigh are the brand names Summit, Pinnacle, Residency and Travel Eze.
Pinnacle and Residency are gas engine Class A’s and Summit is a series of diesel engine Class A’s. Travel Eze is a fifth-wheel brand.
