Monaco Coach Corp. has added four new floorplans to its top-selling Diplomat diesel pusher motorhome for 2007. Among the new offerings is a 40-foot layout that includes a full-wall slideout that creates a wider aisleway because divider walls and bulkheads have been removed. Diplomat, featuring three or four slideout floorplans in lengths of 36 to 40 feet, is built on the Coburg, Ore.-manufacturer’s proprietary 33,000-pound GVWR Roadmaster RR8R raised-rail chassis and powered by a 400-hp Cummins ISL engine. The $216,477 (starting MSRP) Diplomat comes with 7-foot ceilings, one-piece windshields, oak cabinets, new rear molded fiberglass caps, pass-through storage, side-hinged compartment doors and smooth gelcoat fiberglass sidewalls with full body paint.
