* Rick Kangail was hired for the newly created position of vice president, human resources.

* Craig Wanichek is now Monaco’s director of treasury support and corporate communications.
“These three individuals are key members of the exceptional management team that we have assembled,” stated Kay Toolson, chairman and CEO. “We are very happy to bring these three exceptional leaders into the Monaco family.”
Monaco also reports that Ed Kinney, vice president of dealer marketing, has assumed added responsibilities over the publicly held corporation’s marketing department, with Jim Mac, director of marketing, reporting to him.
Kangail is charged with providing company-wide direction for leadership development, benefits, compensation and other human resource issues for Monaco’s 6,000-plus employees in Oregon, Indiana and other U.S. locations.
According to Monaco, Kangail brings over 20 years of executive human resources experience in domestic and international environments across multiple industries, last serving as general manager of human resources for UNOCAL Corp.’s North American business units and corporate staff.
As national sales manager for Holiday Rambler motorized, former Fleetwood executive Draheim brings more than eight years of industry experience in sales and brand management. He also held sales and corporate planning positions in the automobile industry with DaimlerChrysler AG, Volkswagen of America and Kia Motors.
“With his extensive automotive and RV industry experience, specifically in the retail-end of the business, John is the perfect fit within Monaco’s strong customer-centered culture,” said Mike Snell, vice president of sales for Monaco. “Because of John’s focus on brand quality and the retail marketplace, we believe that he will significantly contribute to further building the Holiday Rambler brand presence throughout our dealer network.”
In his new dual roles, Wanichek leads Monaco’s investor relations and public relations programs and provides key support for all of the company’s banking operations. Wanichek was formerly the lead banker on Monaco’s syndicated loan and brings over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry.
“Craig came to us with a built-in understanding of our financial infrastructure through his role as our primary banker. We are very fortunate to have him in a position to lead or assist us on a daily basis with investor relations, banking and other treasury and financial matters,” said Monaco CFO Marty Daley.
