Using the expansive Kentucky Exposition Center as a backdrop, Monaco Coach Corp. debuted a number of refined and redesigned motorized and towable RVs today (Dec. 2) at the 46th annual Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) National RV Trade Show in Louisville.
The product launch includes Monaco’s introduction of its new 45-foot Majestic floorplan — featuring a telescoping slideout for increased living space — and tag-axle chassis additions to the Monaco Diplomat and Holiday Rambler Endeavor motorhome lines.
“Monaco Coach Corp. is proud to debut these exciting new products at Louisville,” said Mike Snell, vice president of sales and marketing for the Coburg, Ore.-based manufacturer. “We have listened to the valuable feedback provided by both our dealer partners and our mutual customers. These products reflect the design innovations, performance and top quality our dealers and customers have come to expect.”
First available in the Monaco Dynasty built on a Roadmaster chassis, the 45-foot Majestic floorplan boasts a “slide-in-a-slide” room extension that yields more living space than any other floorplan offered. Additional features include a 42-inch LCD TV in the living area, dual-directional pull-out desktop, optional wine chiller and increased countertop space. MSRP starts at $489,833.
The tag-axle Monaco Diplomat and Holiday Rambler Endeavor are built on 42-foot Roadmaster chassis equipped with the Cummins 425hp Cummins ISM diesel engine. According to Monaco, the combination provides for a smoother ride, increased handling capabilities and added towing capacity. With MSRP’s starting at $271,600, the two new tag-axle models also feature two large open floorplans with solid wood cabinetry and ceramic tile with decorative glass accents.
Other Monaco product debuts included:
• Full-wall slideouts in the 36-foot Monaco Montclair and Holiday Rambler Augusta Class C-plus models. Built on Chevy Kodiak chassis, the new models feature a workstation desk, mid-coach 32-inch LCD TV and an optional fireplace. MSRPs begin at $160,902.
• A new fuel-efficient low-profile design for the Holiday Rambler Aluma-Lite Class A motorhome. Built on 18,000-pound GVWR Workhorse or Ford chassis, the Aluma-Lite (base MSRP: $91,595) also includes a full-wall slideout.
