Monaco Coach Corp. is taking salesmanship training online.
The RV manufacturer is developing “an exciting and new Internet Training School we are calling the MNC Advantage Learning Center,” Chairman and CEO Key Toolson said during the company’s recent national dealer meeting in San Antonio, Texas. “The program is under way right now to create a comprehensive series of product modules for all of our brands.”
Toolson said the school will feature specific information that will include everything a salesperson would need to know about Monaco’s products and how to effectively sell them.
“What will make this tool unique and exclusive to us is that it will not only provide your sales team with the product knowledge they need to effectively demonstrate our products’ unique advantages, but can also be used to showcase to your potential customers our industry-leading products and the other services we provide as part of the ownership process,” he continued. “Because it is on the Internet, it can be updated daily or weekly as needed to keep up with product changes and, best of all, access is free to our dealer partners.
The company’s success, Toolson told the dealers, is to promise and deliver a perfect RV experience.
“This means not only exceptional quality, but a first-class sales experience and world-class after-sale service. This to me means helping the customer in need even if you didn’t make that sale. Remember, people who buy our units don’t buy them to stay home.
“World-class service is critical. That’s why we strongly support the RVDA Learning Center. We know it’s a wonderful educational tool, and we feel it is one of the best ideas to come out of your dealer association.”
