Monaco Coach Corp. announced today (June 16) that it has hired Michael F. Greene, 56, as vice president of engineering.
Prior to joining Monaco, Greene served as vice president of manufacturing at a chassis manufacturing company and also previously worked as president of global engineering and technology at automotive supplier Dana Corp.
“We feel Mike is the right person to lead our engineering department as many new initiatives are being put into operation,” stated John Nepute, president of the Coburg, Ore.-based builder. “Mike brings with him a proven record of successes across many business disciplines.”
According to Monaco, Greene will be directly involved in the company’s new Product Lifecycle Management System.
“Our goal is to find a way to get to the next generation motorhome, faster and more efficiently,” said Greene.
He holds an industrial technology degree from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Bowling Green State University.
