Monaco Coach Corp. has recalled 6,376 of its 1999 through 2003 model year gasoline engine Class A motorhomes, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The units were mounted on Ford F53 20,500-pound chassis with gross vehicle weight ratings (gvwr) and on 2000 to 2003 model year Workhorse W-22 chassis with 22,000-pound gvwrs.
The Monaco models included in the recall are the 1999 to 2003 LaPalma, the 2000 to 2002 Monarch and the 2000 to 2003 Monarch SE.
The Holiday Rambler models included in the recall are the 1999 to 2002 Admiral, the 2000 to 2003 Admiral SE, the 2000 to 2003 Vacationeer and the 1999 to 2001 Endeavor.
Dealers will inspect the floor truss network support systems on the recalled units and repair and reinforce them as needed, according to the NHTSA.
