Edward Monaghan, executive vice president and COO of RV seating supplier Flexsteel Industries Inc. since 1993, has retired after 35 years with the company.
Monaghan will be replaced by Ron Klosterman, who was promoted to executive vice president and director of operations. Klosterman will continue as Flexsteel’s CFO and secretary.
Monaghan will continue to serve on Flexsteel’s Board of Directors, according to Bruce Lauritsen, president and CEO.
Flexsteel, which also makes residential and office seating, announced three other promotions on Thursday (Dec. 17):
• Patrick Crahan was promoted to senior vice president of commercial seating and he will oversee Flexsteel’s Dubuque, Iowa, and Lancaster, Pa., operations.
• Jeffrey Bertsch was promoted to senior vice president of corporate services, where his new responsibilities will include corporate purchasing, sourcing, logistics and coordinating operations with Flexsteel’s recently purchased subsidiary, DMI Furniture Inc. He also will work with offshore suppliers.
• James R. Richardson was promoted to senior vice president of marketing, where he will assume additional responsibilities for residential sales activities.
