Most RV company stocks gained Thursday as did the broader market.

One exception was Coachmen, which lost 5/8, or 5.6% of its value, to close at 10 9/16 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Nasdaq composite gained 80 points, or 2.1%, on Thursday as investors bought semiconductor stocks on the assumption computer chip-makers won’t be hurt if the economy slows.

The Dow Jones Industrial average also gained 47 points, or 0.4%, Thursday.

Winnebago gained 1/4 to close at 12 3/4

Thor gained 1/16 to close at 23 3/4

Monaco gained 9/16 to close at 16 15/16

National RV gained 1/8 to close at 8 3/4

Skyline declined 1/16 to close at 20 7/16

SMC declined 3/16 to close at 3 1/8

Holiday RV Superstores gained 3/16 to close at 4 3/16

Rexhall declined 3/16 to close at 4 7/8

Kit was unchanged at 6 5/8

Coast Distribution was unchanged at 1 1/2

Featherlite declined 3/32 to close at 3 1/32

Spartan Motors declined 3/32 to close at 2 25/32

Starcraft declined 3/8 to close at 6 1/2
