Most RV company stocks closed lower Thursday despite sharp increases posted by the Nasdaq composite and the Dow Jones Industrial average.

The Nasdaq climbed 129 points, or 3.2%, on Thursday while the Dow gained 148 points, or 1.4%.

Among RV companies, Winnebago stock gave back a portion of its gains from earlier this week when it slipped 11/16, or 5%, to close at 13 3/16 on Thursday.

Dura, parent of supplier firms Atwood Mobile Products and Excel, reported lower second quarter earnings Thursday, but its stock gained 13/16, or 7.7%, on Thursday, to close at 11 3/8.
