Stocks for both Coachmen and Thor continued to slip on Tuesday, an indication of investors’ ongoing displeasure with Coachmen’s rejection of a merger last week with the Ohio RV maker.

Coachmen stock dropped 1/4, or 1.8%, closing at 13 3/8. Trading volume was less than half of Monday’s activity, as 58,000 shares changed hands.

Thor’s stock also dropped 1/4, or 1%, closing at 25. However, trading activity was much more brisk for the prospective buyer, as volume increased by almost four times to 26,000.

Overall, most RV stocks declined. Among manufacturers, only two saw increases: SMC Corp. rose 1/4, or 3.1%, closing at 4 1/8, and Starcraft climbed 1/8, or 1.6%, closing at 7 7/8.

In the broader market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped by 67.88 points, falling .63% to close at 10536.75. The Nasdaq Composite fell 84.37 points, a slip of 2.3%, closing at 3585.01.
