Most RV company stocks closed higher Friday while the broader market was quiet in anticipation of next week’s Federal Reserve Board meeting.

Two small motorhome manufacturers, Rexhall and SMC, had a good days Friday. Rexhall gained 5/16, or 6.4%, to close at 5 3/16, while SMC gained 3/16, or 6%, to close at 3 5/16.

Meanwhile, the Nasdaq composite lost 11 points, or 0.3%, and the Dow Jones Industrial average dipped 9 points, or 0.1%, on Friday.

Fleetwood gained 1/16 to close at 14 3/8

Winnebago was unchanged at 12 3/4

Thor gained 3/16 to close at 23 15/16

Coachmen gained 1/16 to close at 10 5/8

National RV gained 1/8 to close at 8 7/8

Skyline was unchanged at 20 7/16

Holiday RV Superstores gained 3/32 to close at 4 9/32

Kit was unchanged at 6 5/8

Coast Distribution was unchanged at 1 1/2

Featherlite declined 1/32 to close at 3

Spartan Motors was unchanged at 2 25/32
