Southern California resident Richard Tieben was awarded a 2014 Pacific Coachworks SandSport toy hauler as the winner in the Feb. 6-9 NHRA Winternationals in Pomona.
According to press release, Mike Thompson RV partnered with 100.3 The Sound, Chevron and NHRA providing a chance to win the toy hauler valued at $25,000.
The Sound encouraged listeners and customers to go to 505 participating Chevron & Mike Thompson RV Superstore locations and look for the display with how to enter for a chance to win the toy hauler trailer. The top five finalists were chosen from several thousand entries.
The toy hauler trailer giveaway took place during Sunday’s (March 2) race. KSWD personality, Uncle Joe Benson was the emcee for the presentation of the keys to Tieben on the track in front of a sold out crowd.
“We were so excited to participate with this fabulous group of partners and provide the grand prize for the NHRA Winternational Contest. The winner took delivery of the trailer last week and he was beyond excited,” said Mark Rosenbaum, general manager for Mike Thompson RV.
