NADAguides’ year-end Market Insights Report for 2017 shows that its web traffic was significantly higher across the board over the past year, indicating strong consumer interest in RV travel.

RV Executive Today Online reported that younger buyers are driving the demand for camping and truck trailers and, to a lesser extent, Class C motorhomes, says a company official.

“The industry’s success is largely due to manufacturers acting on dealer feedback and producing models with the latest in technology and innovation, surprising customers with equipment they didn’t know they needed,” the report says.

“Economic fundamentals continue to trend in the right direction, and the new tax code should further support demand in 2018,” says Lenny Sims, vice president of business development and strategy for J.D. Power, which owns NADAGuides’s Appraisal Guide.
