The Nasdaq composite index was punished by investors Thursday, closing down 145 points, or 3.7%.

The tech-heavy index had a tough day because cell phone manufacturer Nokia and online retail Amazon.com warned Wall Street of difficult times ahead.

Meanwhile, the Dow Jones industrial average, the bastion of “old economy” stocks, gained 70 points, or 0.7%, on Thursday.

Among the major RV manufacturers, only Monaco and National RV closed higher.

Monaco gained 7/16 to close at 14 3/16, and National RV gained 1/4 to close at 9 3/16.

Winnebago declined 1/8 to close at 12 7/8

Thor was unchanged at 23 1/4

Coachmen declined 1/16 to close at 10 1/2

Holiday RV Superstores declined 3/8 to close at 4

Rexhall declined 1/8 to close at 5 3/8

Kit was unchanged at 6 7/8

Coast Distribution was unchanged at 1 3/4

Featherlite declined 1/4 to close at 3

Spartan Motors was unchanged at 4

Starcraft was unchanged at 8
