The Nasdaq composite’s rebound continued Monday as investors apparently have come to assume that recent bad earnings news has been factored into the prices of the stocks included in the index.

The Nasdaq soared 98 points, or 3.4%, Monday to close above 3,000 for the first time in three weeks.

Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 13 points, or 0.1%.
