The Nasdaq composite surged above 4,000 for the first time in four weeks, but RV company stocks were mixed on Wednesday.

The Nasdaq gained 53 points, or 1.3%.

Meanwhile the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 6 points, or 0.05%, on Wednesday.

Coachmen’s stock saw little movement despite the fact it announced plans Wednesday to buy Miller Building Systems, a manufacturer of modular structures used by several telecommunications companies and firms in other industries.

Coachmen stock gained 1/8 to close at 10 5/8.
