High-end amenities like wall-to-wall ceramic tile, Corian countertops and halogen lighting characterize National RV Inc.’s new Pacifica diesel pusher Class A, which was introduced at the Family Motor Coach Association’s (FMCA) 76th International Convention Aug. 14-17 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte/Concord, N.C. The Pacifica is slotted price-wise in the middle of National’s 2007 lineup. “We went for eye appeal throughout,” said Brian Glass, director of product development for the National RV Holdings Inc., subsidiary in Perris, Calif. Available initially in three 36- to 40-foot floorplans with three or four slideouts, Pacifica is built on a 32,00-pound GVWR Freightliner raised rail chassis powered by a 350-hp Caterpillar C7 diesel engine. MSRP: $217,225.
