Fun, entertainment and the introduction of 2003 “mid-year innovations” will be the highlights of National RV’s Big Kahuna Dealer Luau & Conference Aug. 26-28 in Ontario, Calif.
Invitations to the gathering, which most likely will become an annual event, will be mailed during the next two or three weeks, said Matt Howard, marketing director for the National RV subsidiary of National RV Holdings Inc.
National RV introduced its model year 2003 product offerings in March during the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) gathering in Perry, Ga. But “exciting innovations” will be unveiled at the dealer meeting in August, said Howard, who added that he could not reveal the details at this time.
The gathering in late August will take place indoors at the Ontario Convention Center, where National RV has reserved 70,000 square feet of display space.
“We intend this to be the first annual (event of its kind),” Howard said. “National RV had a dealer meeting a few years ago, but it was all business. This year, there will be more emphasis on fun than in the past.”
Ontario is about halfway between Los Angeles and National RV’s factories in Perris, Calif., and plant tours will be available.
There also will be seminars presented during the gathering, Howard added.
