National RV Inc., Perris, Calif., has introduced on several lines the optional Slide+1 – a telescoping slideout within a slideout – designed to make an east-west bedroom in a Class A motorhome more functional. Each slideout, the length of which depends on the floorplan, is 20 inches deep, adding 40 inches to the width of the queen-bed layout. “The idea is to give you a true bedroom suite in an east-to-west bedroom layout,” explained Brian Glass, National RV director of product development and marketing. “We will keep adding more to other floorplans as we can.” The Slide+1 can be added as a $2,390 option to existing Dolphin, Dolphin LX, Sea Breeze and Sea Breeze LX floorplans. The system operates with dual electric motors, and is equipped with a large chest on slide rails that stores beneath the bed.
