The Tar Heel state’s largest fall RV show is expecting another strong showing as the North Carolina RV Dealers’Association (NCRVDA) RV Show & Sale is set for Sept. 5-7 at the Raleigh State Fair Grounds in Raleigh, N.C.
Jeff Haughton, director of events and sponsorships for Apple Rock which produces the RV show for the North Carolina RV Dealers’Association, told RVBUSINESS.com that about 7,600 people are expected to attend the show.
“We’ve experienced double-digit growth the last few years and we’re certainly hoping for similar growth this year,” he said, adding that the region is a great demographic for RVers. “We’re equidistant between the beach and the mountains,” he said.
“We’ll have 12 member dealers and 172 RV makes and models,” Haughton said, adding the show is North Carolina’s largest RV-only show in the fall.
The dealers include: A&M Services; Bill Plemmons RV World; Campers Inn of Mocksville; Camptown RV; Country Roads RV Center; Crisp RV; D&H RV Center; Horizon RV; Howard RV Center; Out of Doors Mart; Rex & Sons RV; and Tom Johnson Camping Center.
In addition, the show will feature a number of educational seminars by Howard and Linda Payne of RV-Dreams.com on each of its three days covering topics such as full-time RVing, buying an RV, boondocking and jobs for RVers.
