The new president of the Camp Coast to Coast Inc. subsidiary of Affinity Group Inc. (AGI) is Grant Miller, according to Mike Schneider, AGI’s COO.
Prior to joining Coast to Coast, Miller was vice president-global marketing for Resort Condominiums International (RCI), a unit of Cendant Corp., which also owns the Days Inn, Howard Johnson and Super 8 hotel/motel brands along with Avis, the car rental company, the Jack Hewitt tax preparation service and the Century 21 and Coldwell Banker franchised real estate brokerages.
Miller was selected “from an impressive field of internal and external candidates,” Schneider said.
Prior to joining RCI, Miller held key management positions in sales and marketing with GTE and radio station WMEE/WQHK in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Miller graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis with degrees in radio/television and business administration.
He will begin his duties with AGI on Monday (July 22) and will be based at AGI’s offices in Englewood, Colo.
Coast to Coast is a reciprocal membership camping network that includes nearly 400 private membership “campresorts” and 600 Good Neighbor Parks all over North America. It had 157,200 members as of Dec. 31, 2001.
