Dynamax Corp. engineered a new floorplan in its upscale Dyna Aire fifth-wheel line that doubles the basement storage capacity. Dewayne Creighton, president of the Elkhart, Ind.-based firm, said that the new Dyna Aire Foundation Max fiver achieved the added space through use of “tubular bridge construction” in the chassis that literally raises the floor. “We wanted to give consumers maximum storage,” Creighton said. The Foundation Max has enlarged front storage along with a pass-through area behind the rear axle and another smaller storage area in the rear of the coach. To support the added storage, Dynamax incorporated 10,000-pound axles and heavy-duty tires. The 36-foot floorplan that debuted at the Louisville Show is the latest entry in the Dyna Aire line that launched in August, representing the company’s first towable offering. Dyna Aire Foundation Max MSRP: $120,000.
