DoubleTree LLC, a new subsidiary of SunnyBrook Manufacturing Inc., will begin building fifth-wheels for the “extending living to full-time” markets about 30 days from today (March 27), according to David Fought, CEO.
DoubleTree is operating from a leased facility north of LaGrange, Ind.
Its parent company also owns SunnyBrook RV Inc., located in nearby Middlebury, Ind.
Ten years ago, Fought was one of the founders of SunnyBrook, but he has since sold his equity stake.
The retail price range for DoubleTree units has not been determined, but Fought said they will be in the 29- to 38-foot length range.
DoubleTree units will be marketed, at the wholesale level, by the SunnyBrook sales staff. That means, certain SunnyBrook dealers will inventory DoubleTree units if the two brands are a good fit for that retailer, Fought said.
