Fleetwood RV’s new logo with the accompanying tag line, “Driven to Explore,” is a refinement of the company’s original “Shield” logo created in 1963, according to the Riverside, Calif.-based manufacturer. The logo was unveiled during the 41st Annual National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky., Dec. 2-4.
Fleetwood said the new logo design, called the “Signature Shield,” is a more contemporary interpretation, but still retains the “spirit of the open road” embodied in the original logo.
According to Fleetwood, the new tag line has a double meaning – expressing RVers “passion for travel and discovering new places,” while also representing the company’s commitment to innovation and improving overall quality.
“Exploration has been at the heart of Fleetwood RV since our beginning,” said Senior Vice President Chris Braun. “Our customers have always been, and will always be, adventurers who want to see and experience America first-hand. Our new logo and tag line not only celebrate our unique heritage, they represent Fleetwood’s commitment to the spirit of exploration.”
During the Louisville Show, Fleetwood celebrated the unveiling by presenting dealers with a gift package that included the bestselling book by Stephen E. Ambrose, “Undaunted Courage,” honoring the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
The new logo and tag line will be incorporated into all Fleetwood RV products, services and communications.
