On a day when all other RV industry related firms saw their stock prices decline or remain unchanged, Coast Distribution System shares hit a new 52-week high.
Meanwhile, Thor Industries stock reached a new 52-week high of $71.30 in New York Stock Exchange trading today (June 3), but then its shares joined other RV industry firms in the minus column.
Thor shares closed today at $66.65, down $2.85, or 4%, for the day.
Thor’s previous 52-week high was $70.73 set last Wednesday (May 29).
Meanwhile, Coast, a distributor of RV and pleasure boat aftermarket accessories, saw its stock gain 30 cents, or 10%, today to close at $3.30 a share.
Earlier in the trading session. Coast stock climbed as high as $3.99, eclipsing its previous 52-week high of $3.25 established Thursday (May 30).
Coast stock traded for below $1 a share for almost all of 2001. It climbed above $1 a share in late February and has stayed above that level pretty much since then.
