New 52-week highs were reached today (May 29) for the stocks of Spartan Motors, Coast Distribution and Thor Industries.
Diesel pusher chassis supplier Spartan revealed early today that it had robust order volume for its fire truck chassis in May. As a result, its stock reached a new 52-week high of $13.40 a share today, shattering its previous mark of $12.49.
Spartan stock closed today at $13.25, up $1.36 a share, or 11%, for the trading session.
Meanwhile, Coast shares gained 22 cents, or 10%, today to close at $2.52. Earlier today, Coast shares reached as high as $2.55, eclipsing the previous 52-week high of $2.35.
No news releases were issued by Coast today to explain the increase.
And Thor stock surpassed the $70 a share mark for the first time in New York Stock Exchange trading today. Thor shares climbed as high as $70.73 today, a new 52-week high, before closing at $69.40, down 43 cents for the day.
Thor’s previous 52-week high was $69.96 set on Tuesday (May 28).
